ICE Under Fire; Georgetown’s Radical Recruitment Drive; Media Hypocrisy; and the Left's Normalization of Violence
Each night I unpack the conservative conversations of the day — the issues dominating our podcasts, the stories corporate media won’t tell honestly, and the truths the Left is desperate to distort. Tonight’s edition centers on one theme: America is facing an epidemic of left-wing violence, cheered on by elites and sanitized by the press.
ICE Under Fire — Literally
Two detainees were killed and another injured in a Dallas ICE facility shooting this week. According to FBI Director Cash Patel, the bullet casings were engraved with anti-ICE slogans. He made it clear: “An initial review of the evidence shows an ideological motive behind this attack.”
Vice President JD Vance wasted no time connecting the dots:
“When Democrats like Gavin Newsom say these people are part of an authoritarian government… when the left-wing media lies about what they’re doing, who they’re arresting, the actual job of law enforcement — what they’re doing is encouraging crazy people to go and commit violence.”
Exactly right. The anti-ICE rhetoric that’s been mainstreamed by Democrats and late-night comics has consequences. ICE agents are treated like villains by Hollywood, by Colbert, by Newsom — and now bullets are flying.
Matt Walsh put it plainly:
“ICE has been under siege by left-wing radicals for months. In fact, the entire country has been under siege for months.”
Ben Shapiro called it what it is: “MORE left-wing violence.” Michael Knowles noted the irony: “If you followed this shooting in the establishment media, you would conclude that the shooter’s ideological inclinations are just unknowable. And if you watched MSNBC, you would think he was on the right.”
Georgetown’s Radical Recruitment Drive
As if the ICE attack weren’t enough, Tim Pool exposed something darker: the John Brown Gun Club at Georgetown University is literally using the exact inscriptions from Charlie Kirk’s assassin’s bullets to recruit new student members.
Their flyer bragged: “Hey fascists, catch us at Georgetown.”
Think about that: a so-called “student club” at one of America’s elite universities openly celebrating the assassination of a conservative leader and advertising for fresh recruits. Pool nailed it:
“These are profoundly, profoundly evil people. Basically a leftist paramilitary, and they need to be cracked down on.”
This isn’t a fringe blog or a hidden Telegram channel. This is recruitment on campus. The line between “protest movement” and “terrorist cell” has officially blurred.
Kimmel’s Chaos and the Media’s Hypocrisy
Meanwhile, the Jimmy Kimmel saga spirals further into absurdity. ABC pulled him off air for smearing conservatives with the lie that Charlie Kirk’s assassin was MAGA. Then they reversed course after affiliates were attacked and threatened. Now, according to Timcast, Kimmel’s staff are threatening to walk out if he apologizes. Affiliates like Sinclair and Nextstar still refuse to carry him.
Megyn Kelly summed it up: “It’s just gotten very interesting.” That’s polite. The truth is Kimmel has become a lightning rod for exactly the toxic media ecosystem that makes leftist violence possible.
Matt Walsh cut to the chase:
“Google finally admits it censored conservatives at the behest of the Biden administration. That is an infinitely greater attack on free speech than Jimmy Kimmel’s temporary paid vacation.”
Exactly. The Left screams about “threats to democracy,” but the real collusion is Big Tech throttling conservatives while Kimmel gets treated like a martyr for lying.
Trump, Comey, Hillary — and the Two-Tier System
Over on Clay and Buck, they highlighted Trump meeting with Turkey’s leader in the Oval Office, while also noting the possibility of charges against James Comey before the statute of limitations runs out. Hillary Clinton is back on TV spewing recycled talking points.
Notice the pattern: when conservatives are targets of political violence, the media excuses it or shrugs. When the Left faces legal scrutiny, suddenly it’s an attack on the Republic.
The Media’s Blind Spot
I wrote earlier this week about the media’s romanticizing of Charlie Kirk’s assassin. Matt Gutman at ABC actually highlighted the killer’s ACT score and GPA — as if we were watching some Shakespearean tragedy. CNN gave a terrorist glowing coverage. Rolling Stone once put the Boston bomber on its cover.
As I said then: if a right-winger commits violence, it’s portrayed as proof the whole movement is dangerous. When the Left does it, suddenly it’s “complicated,” “tragic,” even “touching.”
My Take
We’re not just watching a wave of violence. We’re watching the normalization of violence from the Left — cheered on by media, rationalized by Democrats, and even celebrated in Ivy League classrooms.
When ICE agents are shot, when Charlie Kirk is assassinated, when universities host recruitment drives based on the slogans etched into assassins’ bullets — this is no longer “politics as usual.” This is terrorism.
And the refusal of the media to name it as such isn’t just cowardice. It’s complicity.
Closing Thoughts
The Far Left think they can scare us into silence. But every ICE attack, every Kimmel lie, every campus flyer dripping with hateful slogans only proves one thing: they are terrified of the truth.
Charlie Kirk’s mission goes on. Erica Kirk is leading. The American Comeback Tour continues. And we — the people who still believe in faith, freedom, and country — are not going anywhere.
